A Hymn of Faith for the Day

“Thought the fig tree may not blossom,

Nor fruit be on the vines;

Though the labor of the olive may fail,

And the fields yield no food;

Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,

And there be no herd in the stalls–

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,

I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Habakkuk 3:17-18

  1. When my husband died, I learned that in every situation, All Is Well. Through lies and slandering of name, I learned TRUE LOVE. Through sickness to the poinr of death, I learned Healing. Through lack and need I learned Supply. In Giving, I learned Receiving. Through sadness and sorrow, I have Learned Joy. In All things, through all things, I have Learned to Rejoice because I know my SOURCE. The JOY of The LORD Is my STRENGTH and I Can Do All Things Through CHRIST WHO Strengthens me. CHRIST being The ANOINTED ONE and HIS ANOINTING causes me to Believe that the Anointing and Joy are one. That’s just one more reason to Love HIM More. Yes, I find this Scripture to be True in my Life and I Thank HIM and Bless HIM for Manifesting The TRUTH in my Life. Bless you Pastor

    • Dear Cynthia,
      I am sorry for the loss of your husband. I thank you for your kind message to what is valuable not only to you, but as believers, to all of us.
      I wrote this blog the night before my wife had cancer surgery. She has MS and if that wasn’t enough, she has other health issues that needed to be addressed surgically.
      She is home now after 10 days in the hospital. All I have done and will continue to do is pray to our Lord for her comfort and a painless life.
      I was and am still amazed of how I am not in want. God’s peace is beyond comprehension, isn’t it?
      I am not a pastor. I am, as you are, devoted to God’s word day and night.
      I can’t imagine life without Him!
      God Bless you Cynthia! Please feel free to write anytime…
      Gal 2:20

  2. I will Pray a Prayer of FAITH for your wife for I have seen many Miracles of healings in my household, even of cancer. I wil also Pray for you because many do not realize what a spouse is going through when their husband or wife is ill. May GOD Over shadow your household with LIFE in JESUS Name. AMEN

    • Thank you. This was my reading for the day I thought I would share with you! God Bless you and thank you for your words of encouragement and faith!

      For I know that my Redeemer lives,
      And He shall stand at last on the earth;

      And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
      That in my flesh I shall see God,

      Whom I shall see for myself,
      And my eyes shall behold, and not another.
      How my heart yearns within me!
      Job 19:25-27
